was looking behind the tractor seat for a different tape and found a home recorded sony c 30 with the Wurzels and others . I got to thinking and realised I taped it back in 1976 , that's almost 40 years ago , what have you got that's still going 40 years later . My knees and back were fairly well knackered 20 years ago .

I still have my scalextric from the 60s, with lots of additions over the years. Star of the show is a fifty year old Panther F1 car which still runs (on its original motor).

 

It all still gets used and is set up in my spare room.

Serviced the Rayburn this afternoon ,must have been the kitchem more than 60 years..It was converted to oil about 40 years ago , with a Don #8 burner.

yes you can , the reference to mendiplogs was the Wurzels , him being from Somerset , the second point was the age of things being possibly built better years ago ? !
