Might be a stupid question but can you use a zig zag somehow for srt?

 

 

With a wrench but it's frowned upon !! It's very good though apparently ;)

See if you can get a go on a petzl rig or isc d4 based RAD system. Can use as 1:1 or 2:1 without any re-rigging. Not as fast on the way up as many systems but quick enough, and much less effort if on 2:1. Very smooth work positioning and slack tending, also easy to mid line attach with no risk of dropping the rig.

Got the hang of 1:1 with it? and leaving ascender near stem for easy 2:1 return from downwards limb walks? I like the way you can ditch the footloop once in the canopy for 2:1, and aren't having to stick a pantin back on, or sort a neck loop.

free worker does horrible teathers ..... don't bother with any of them , the best one you can get in Germany is probably the @height one that climb tools is stocking.
