I feel your pain I had a 560xpg fall out the back of my pick up a few weeks ago and it was gone by the time I got back. Didn't even take 20 minutes for someone to lift it

I've got to ask how did it fall out the back of the truck?

I sometimes worry if the back of mine is full of stuff if something will bounce out!

The roller cover is meant to lock onto the tailgate and prevent it from opening when locked but who ever fitted it hasn't done it properly. Guessing that the tailgate opened when pulling out of a busy junction so I'm going to try the dealer to pay for it as its a brand new pickup but think we all know what the answer is going to be

You should also be careful posting about it if not claiming as they always ask if you have had ANY claimable problems. I happened to mention reversing into a gate post and paying to have it fixed myself. And they then added it to my policy as a no claim claim or some such rubbish.

Was not very happy!!

Yes and also wouldn't phone up insurance company asking for "advice" as this could/will get logged on the system as a claim!

Yer, scbk is spot on!

rang insurance to check if my windscreen was covered, said yes, decided to get rid of the van so didnt claim. Next renewel it seems I have a claim on record, !!!!!

Feel for anyone having their gear stolen, just had stihl blower and strimmer taken from the truck, directly behind me, whist cutting a hedge. £500 excess, £750 replacement, decided not to claim.
