i worked in Germany for 4 years but down in Frankfurt am main. I'd recommend it dude. Berlin is a top city as well

my firm-equipment:

a beach rolly and a black diamond haulbag(145l) with lots of climbing gear :-)

work in germany over winter and try to travel as much as i can over the summer and late summer.

last year over all 10 countrys in europe. some of them twice and more...

 

why not a treeclimbing-world-tour?!?!

i don't think you need to pre organise anything, every where i've gone i've found work within a week. even when i had little climbing experience and went to nz, got a job no worries. australia is just crying out for climbers. no need to pre plan. just grab a yellow pages when you arrive. i want to go to europe when i go home, maybe the language barrier would make it more difficult.

The language barrier is less of the problem the more experianced the ground staff are.The first time I worked in Germany my main groundie was so good he'd be holding the fuel can almost before I knew my saw was running out of gas!

Work is a great way to learn another lanuage as you only learn what the locals use and hear the lanuage spoken all the time.
