Good use of the ballast dog there for quite a weighty load. I like the look of the low sides for loading over in comparison to most other very similar designed trailers.

Good to see in use.

Terriers always got to be up on top of something😁😁.

To be fair it's a pretty good trailer all together, doesn't take long to get the body off and put bolsters on. But unfortunately all my of cuts are a bit random so I use the tipper.

Any thoughts on this one from Kellfri?... (2.5t payload, low ground pressure tyres on bogey axles) https://www.kellfri.co.uk/tipping-trailer-2-5-tonnes

More photos of that one here: https://www.daviesimplementsltd.co.uk/product/agricultural/trailers/kellfri-2-5t-dropsided-trailer/

cheers, steve

I run a Kellfri SV27 forwarding trailer (their smallest). I bought it because it was the only thing out there that fit the bill that I could afford.

Objectivly, the build quality is not great. I was particularly unimpressed with all of the hydraulic fittings having PTFE tape on them and the whole chassis flexes badly with even moderate loads on the crane - it will crack one day.

However - it was, relatively speaking, cheap. As far as value for money goes I certainly do not feel cheated. It works well and hasn't let me down yet. If it was any better made I wouldn't have been able to have it at all.

Great honest review, thanks.

Trailer is still holding up well, the quad pulled this load easily now the ground has dried slightly. No dents despite my best efforts chucking logs in?

Liking the multipurpose aspects of this trailer.

Have you used the trailer for pulling out any big pieces, 3m of 28" diameter oak perhaps?!... the spec says 700kg max but I'm wondering if it could cope with more than that.

Also wondering if there's an easy way of adding greedy boards (we're looking to move lots of compost).

Cheers, Steve
