Bought a second hand cheap machine (£30) it is plumbed into the garage and gets used for dog beds and forestry kit, years ago I got the blame for wrecking some of her work blouses due to resin left in the drum and have never used the good machine since......

Just tell her it the man that wears them trousers that bought the machine. And get ready to run maybe.

Thanks for all your replies lads but she still insists that everyone she has talked to would not wash chainsaw trousers in their machine. Just have to do it when she goes out or asleep and not leave them around drying

Wait for the missus to put her very best threads in the machine and at the last minute sneak your chainsaw trousers in but first stuff lots of toilet paper in the pockets and don't zip them up.

After the inevitable hurricane a compromise will be reached where you can get to use the machine provided you clean it afterwards :)
