You can only split at waist height i think, it's only horizontal when towing.

 

Max log length of 18" so no billets.

 

Impressed with it so far but not been used too much. Prob only done 3 cube

 

Ok thanks for the info. No prices on the website, how much was it if you don't mind me asking?

I had the equivalent oxdale splitter out today, some good some bad.

 

The small head means the log gets stuck in between the ram and the head on the return stroke.

The head stops about 0.4 of a foot from the base plate so if your splitting stringy stuff like birch Or pop then you need to spin it over.

We ended up putting another block down.

The 12t is nowhere near enough, got stuck in rings a lot.
