Unless things have dramatically improved I wouldn't bother with Brisbury.

Long list of gripes - many years back I had to use my own saw on the CS31 AND share it with another candidate on the course!

 

Some of the instructors are good but if you have a choice I'd go for Plumpton, or Merrist Wood at Guildford.

Funny you say that actually. I did my 30/31 there 12 years ago; one instructor was OK, one was very good but not mine and one - mine - just didn't want to be there.

Knowledge gained since suggests that I was taught the bare minimum - enough to pass the assessment.

But give the place a chance; that was years ago and the biggest issue was with one individual.
