I had a pair for 2 years , the soles wore out but the leather was in great condition. The only thing is that they are a pig to wear in , other than that there great. Also when new the soles were a bit hard on the bark when climbing.

Not as heavy as you think. Great boots - I have worn them for years. I usually get 2 to 3 years out of a pair
