I did some work for Jasper many many moons ago and guess what he really did have moles and bloody loads of them :)

 

Thanks for the advice going to order a few traps today, don't fancy pouring derv all around the garden just yet.

Best thing you can do is hire in a pro and go to work to pay his bill, after all you wouldn't want the mole-catcher from down the road dropping that 80ft hanging syc for you would you? Or you could spend a couple hundred quid on moody remedies and then have to get him in, your call

Catching moles is easy and the scissors traps are cheap, its not exactly a skilled job, why employ someone?

Perhaps not highly skilled but there definately is a technique. Anyone can stick a trap in the ground and perhaps have some degree of success but there are professionals who are skilled at what they do and are good at it. Don't under estimate the humble mole.
