Evening all.

My chipper is due an upgrade and ive settled on either the a530 or a540. I dont have a whole lot of time though and there is an a540 ive found that i think is a pretty good deal, but im getting abit hung up on the weight of it. Maybe its cos my chipper now is a entec 125 weighing 600kgs ish and ive just got used to the convenience of how light it is. Ive worked before in a two man team with a two tonne chipper and dont remember it ever being an issue but i might be out of touch.

Anyone running it in a two man team getting it everywhere you need to?

Cheers

Cheers for your replies, good idea about the winch that could work. im not worried about the truck pulling it im using the same van i used to tow a 2 tonne chipper a few years ago and it pulled it surprisingly well. Its more unhitching the chipper and pushing it around, the yard its kept in is a little bumpy, and i dont want it to turn into that annoying grudge job. Same for pushing it on uneven drives etc
