Dmax issues where do I stand?

That's depressing reading.

Looked at the cost of the DPF additive mentioned in the first letter but 31 euros for 1 can to add to a tank of fuel would hurt. Probably cheaper to drive a gert big petrol. Think a few on here have been advocating the advantages of big petrol beast for some time and looks like it could be the future.

Had some useful but depressing advice from an Isuzu service chap (not local dealer). Simple answer forget anything with Euro-5 for doing short trips. He said I could get a garage box of tricks to do a regen cycle to clean the DPF. Not got prices but looks like the only possible option if I want to keep the Dmax.

His recomend was older Hilux but does anyone know when the Hilux went from Euro-3 to Euro-4?

Just got back from the Dealer.

Been plugged into computer and nothing initially found to be wrong.

Solution to the high oil level was easy fix for them, they drained the excess  I kid you not.

Then tried to charge me for half hours work!
