Seems this "wind firming" thing is quite a regular/usual occurrence Adam. What's the thought process/reasoning over leaving them or complete removal? Also, is it all done off spikes or spike Less? Nice video by the way.

Hi Ian,My understanding of it is that its the only obvious way to take the wind sail out of the trees(as they are tall and spindly)Yes they where all spiked which is the only productive way of doing them.We could get 2 or 3 from one tree as well.Maybe Reg has a different opinion. Thanks

Cheers Adam. I did wonder about the spiking. It's exactly what I'd be doing to be fair.

Cracking video Adam, Whoever was on the rigging rope on that poplar was A-class work. Very smooth on the limbs and cool and decisive on that spinning timber section.

Cheers Ian.That was me rigging that poplar and another guy as we had 2 rigging point's on the pieces otherwise the drop would of hit the house plus it had a good lean on it.Haha I'm still trying to master the spinning of the logs to make them land flat.have to push down and spin them at the same time.
