Time for a new saw

Nope. 201's, and 460's.

 

I don't really use much else. Did have a 341 though which was a great saw but when the electronic ignition packed up for the second time I put it on the shelf and there it stays. I should sell it for spares really i guess.

 

Bottom line is there are good and bad saws throughout the range of all the manufacturers saws IMO

well I'll be sticking with Huskvarna thank ye very much, next one will be number 30 in as many years. it also helps that I have got a lot of spares of old saws should I need them. good local dealer who treats me well etc. can't see myself changingto another make.

90% of the forestry people I know use husky too, the name huskvarna is synonymous with serious timber felling.

I'm waiting for two saws to come back from Spud, another 357 and a 362, it will be interesting to see what they are like once ported.. My other ported 357 was great...

its a great saw I don't find it gutless atall and yeah the mtronic might mess up on the od unlucky chap but the Husqvarna's eat av springs so swings and roundabouts

Im not knocking the brand at all, just interested in other brands of chainsaw.

Both done now, just waiting for the sprocket on the 362. It spools up pretty quick, be interesting trying it as it crackles a bit!

 

The 357 will be nice, good compression, always a good sign!

Sounds good, I have ordered bars from rob d so will be all ready to go when they arrive..
