Do you mean putting yourself near the Lv , or felling in an area of an Lv line Dom?

Climbing a willow with a Lvcable that runs close isn't touching the tree or running through it but a least 3m away.

Is it still 9 m if the cable is shrouded ??

9 m on any wooden pole.

If the tree is 3 m away. Contact your dno they will do a site visit and advise you. If you need a shutdown they will do it for free.

Hi could someone please tell me what the min distance it would be safe to be from the cable thanks

If you need to ask this, your best bet is your local dno.
