I gave up work when my eldest was born and stayed at home to look after him and later his brother.

I then started working part time as they went to school. I made sacrifices I did not get hand outs other than child benefit.

 

I now still only work school hours so my kids have me to come home to.

 

Point is I do not expect nor want money off the government or anyone else as I brought these kids into the world(not literally!!) I was not asked to by the government. So why should they give me a tax break because I have kids?
