A little Gift from us to

A saw this today on my travels, it amused me so I thought I'd share.

 

Driving around, I noticed how much new planting has been achieved over the last couple of years - so to the Local Authority and particularly to the member on here who has instigated it and overseen it all.

 

I've painted out the LA logo, just in case the person responsible wishes to remain anonymous.

It is. Some good planting locations, lots of diversity and likely to have a real positive impact in a few years.

Roman road, Kew road area. They might be elsewhere too, I don't know. I have been told this evening that a decent planting budget has been secured at least in the near future.

The new planting is much needed throughout the north west.

 

It has been neglected for a long time in the face of serious loss of significant trees.

 

Advertising is a LA doing what it ought to and the politicians are going to make political mileage out of it, that way they can point to the good deed while other services are eroded.
