What do all think of this vw job

On reflection, this might not be the end of the world for VW.

 

We're probably going to find all the main manufacturers are at it.

 

Where does that leave us?

Am I the only one surprised that a leading manufacturer has deliberately engineered their cars to circumvent these tests?

 

I read about this, then another story about a peanut butter supplier who caused a death and made hundreds ill with e-coli after selling on a batch with altered or forged documentation from a laboratory test. Maybe I'm just naive in my belief that there's still some decency, honesty and integrity in the world!

I get my old transit through the Mot by covering half the radiator to get the engine red hot, and adjusting the throttle linkage so it doesn't rev out.

So I guess it's not just me.
