Unless I am mistaken the tool ring at the back is now Green and rated for life support. Could be a problem on bigger saws with no direct attachment point apart from the handle. Also a large saw it more likely to be taken with falling timber.

 

 

Not mistaken It is PPE rated.

That's good, as we put an apprentice in one and hauled him up in the air by his arse on the rigging line.

Seems to me to be a lot of reinventing the wheel in this thread.

 

Why no just place a krab to the lanyard and the clip that to the attachment point on the saw. Still has a breakaway facility and you can clip the krab into the carytool.

Already got my strop on the left mate.

Took a while to get used to but it was a right clusterflop when I had both on the right!

Moving my strop to the left side was one of the best moves ever, simple but effective, I use an old carabiner with a sticky gate as a Caritool can have it open or shut depending what s needed
