What's the good thing to kill tooth ache thanks

Suck it up and go to the dentist. I hadn't been for about 25 years when I suddenly got toothache. I was popping codeine like it was going out if fashion. Turns out I had an impacted wisdom tooth and developed an infection. Suddenly understood what the wife was on about when she said a bad toothache was painful beyond belief. Had the two pulled out under general. Also have an awesome dentist with a wicked bedside manner which makes a massive difference.
