What's the best material for building a light, durable and cost effective chip box which as well as collecting chip will also take loads of wood so needs to be strong enough to take a bit of a knock. Thanks in advance.

I built one a couple of months ago out od 1.5inch box section and 1mm steel sheet, not at all heavy but strong and relitivly cheap and won't rot like ply does.
