My original techlite bar bent like a cheese slice when I pinched it and tried to free it (sop)

So I bought another (I ain't too bright)

I don't ever grease any bar sprocket any more mark , I found you have to keep it a near daily routine as weekly sporadic greasing seems to make sprockets fail quicker from my experience so it's either all or nothing.

I found the tech lites bend nicely back Mick, unless they delaminate.

Out of curiosity how much grease do you go though? Just looked and 10 sachets of Oregon grease comes in at £12.50, so if you said a bar cost £50 after 40 sachets you'd break even by not greasing?

I've never greased a bar so no idea how long that would take to use

I'd guess 4/5 satchets a year for my Huskys, tips and clutches.

I'm worth it.

That's not too bad, could be worth doing it works out as cheaply as that. Not sure I'll convert though as bars seem to last a reasonable time without grease (techlite excluded from that statement!)
