I fancy making a pulley saver out of spare bits of kit but not too sure how to go about it really. I've got bits like unused length of 14mm blue yale rigging rope, some maillons, triple attachment rapids pulleys, loads of friction cords etc.. I could probably put something together but I think I'm a bit paranoid being that it will be the one thing that stops me from dropping to the floor!! Don't really have the money to buy a new 'Gucci' pulley saver, but feel I need one to help my ascents. Could anyone help me me some guidance, reassurance and even pics of your homemade ones?

Cheers

Matt

Here's one I made up , its honestly the most retrievable thing I have ever used, my rope guide went missing so i threw this together after seeing a friend with the same system

Got any more photos of that, Jesse?

Not at the moment bro , I can take a few snaps tomorrow if you'd like.

That'd be sweet if you could. Gonna make one for one of the lads at work. Got the main part spliced but it doesn't retrieve well like yours.
