We do garden patios, paths and driveways etc, it takes longer than expected, but it is a service we offer and is often used as an extra if the client will accept the quote for the original work. As I understand it you should never pressure wash caravans for the reasons you state eggs, that is, that they will inevitably suffer water ingress at the folded aluminium seams.

Yes you are discussing the virtues of washing caravans.

 

Good money to be had doing it if you get a few on the same park. I charge the park owner £50/unit and can do 8-10 units in an eight hour day.

This sounds altogether like a new business, entirely separate from tree work etc that I assume you do already.

 

I wouldn't offer this as a service from my existing company - I would set up again as a new enterprise meaning that you get a new set of tax allowances etc.

 

Strictly speaking you could hire equipment from one of your companies to the other eg the use of the 110 hicab, as it can't be an asset in both businesses, but this can just be a paper exercise.

 

If you think you have a market for this then go for it, but I would have a word with the accountant to make sure I get the best deal for tax allowances and discounts etc.

Has stated in previous post's,it can open a can of worms on driveways etc ,watch out for whinging neighbours too has they will be watching to sue your arse if using strong detergents ...dead grass,paint work marked etc the list can go on .

Nearly forgot ... Customers with pets are the worst .....dog has suddenly taken ill since you cleaned the driveway.

I am doing more of this sort of work than tree work these days. I now promote it much, much more as well.

 

Nice easy days with a FSC compared to all the aggro with friggin trees, chippers, tippers staff letting u down etc

 

No chemicals are needed at all to be honest, just make sure its a 15 litre per minute machine minimum and the weeds will be blasted.
