I'm thinking of going training for some other type of work, seeing as how finding work is so difficult at the moment an can't see it getting any better. I'm looking for some ideas/suggestions what people on here would do , preferably outdoor type of work.

Look forward to some suggestions.

firewood is the way forward, a couple of plumbers who live near me have spent the last 3yrs just fitting woodburners into peoples houses, I sell loads of logs in my village and surrounding area, luckly for us it is a free waste product of our job, just need somewhere to store and process it. It wont make you a millionaire, but its a start!

I looked into that Marc You need a specific industry skill to do IRATA unless you want to clean windows for ever !

For example a trained electriction or construction engineer that then gets qualified to work at height.
