Could be pawlonia tomentosa... Don't think catalpa as that's flowering at the mo and I don't think the beans start like the berrys in picture

The nuts/seeds in your shot suggest Paulownia

Paulownia doesn't flower until fairly mature, and doesn't flower at all when coppiced or pollarded I believe.

Look paulownish to me though.

I think its Catalpa bignonioides - Indian bean, but I've been wrong before!

Pawlonia, plenty of them around here otherwise I wouldn't know! (Plus a check on google images)

I don't like them myself, always considered the lilac flowers rather brassy and come hither.

It is indeed paulownia, I thought it was a catalpa till the customer put me right. Was just seeing if there was anyone else who thought it was catalpa to make me feel better about myself
