sorry, meant did the owners say if it had lilac flowers.

The nuts/seeds in your shot suggest Paulownia

Pawlonia, plenty of them around here otherwise I wouldn't know! (Plus a check on google images)

I don't like them myself, always considered the lilac flowers rather brassy and come hither.

It is indeed paulownia, I thought it was a catalpa till the customer put me right. Was just seeing if there was anyone else who thought it was catalpa to make me feel better about myself
