Cheers Mr Pirate, looks like people still get to enjoy a pint under its shade :thumbup1:

.

That's the one Mr Humphries - you can just make out an impressive bit of deadwood over the tables on the left of the stem, in front of the barrels.

It's been years since I had a pint there, inside as I'd been out all day.

Not exactly answering your question, but if it isn't named after the tree it should be: Fancy a pint in the world's only bar that's INSIDE a tree? | Daily Mail Online

Pretty cool Gary:thumbup1:

There was one nearby called The Cherry Trees, but it closed unfortunately. Bit of history gone there, all because it got bought out by a parent company and subsequently 're-designed'. Travesty.

That's a shame

There is one in the village i grew up in called the Yew Tree

Is this the one in the church yard across the road?

One near where I used to live called the Broad Oak

Is it still standing Andy?
