can someone help with an ebay purchase

i all, i recently won an auction for a bowl blank on ebay and the person insists that it must be collected and will not entertain the possibility of it being posted even though it's only a 5x5x3" block of wood.

 

 

is there anyone in romford, essex who is willing to collect it and post it for me.

 

i will of course pay for any fuel you use and the cost of postage of the blank.

PS I was looking at a website on wood recently where you Mr Skittle man was an enormous wood sample contributor. Good Man:thumbup1:

i've got more samples to send him but i need to have enough bits to make it a viable package as it cost him nearly $100 to get it shipped...

that's been added since they relisted it...

 

 

in my opinion they don't want to sell it as it's going to cost more in fuel (unless you live on their doorstep) to go get it rather than have it couriered...
