Came across these on the South Bank near the TV studios ??

Got me !! They weren't in my Tree book, the leaf was very similar to London Plane, but the bark threw me :confused1:

Could be a new type of fungus enveloping the tree ??

Ha ha...Cambridge seems to have its fair share of "pink" trees and some other variations on the theme....No harm done imo

Perhaps it will dissuade the dogs from attacking the trees....? I mean...its understood in nature that the more lurid you are..the less attractive you are to predators!!!?

Dean, did you go to the saatchi gallery???

Didn't manage to get there, went to Madame tussauds, natural history museum to see Phenoms tree, London eye, west minster, big Ben and nelsons colum.

We spent about 75% of our time stood in queues which when you only have a weekend is annoying so didn't get to see half as many things as I wanted.

One thing I did learn is dont live or work in London if you don't like queues or ignorant people, I had to have a word with quite a few people about their manners
