Subjective response. In my world everyone that uses someone elses150 then buys one. It seems to cut faster but that may be the condition of the chain, who knows?

Thanks for replies, but the battery one, with a spare battery, which, obviously I would buy, comes out way too expensive for my budget unfortunately. 150 it is.

They do work out expensive with a couple of batteries, till you consider that the batteries are interchangeable through the range of products. Of course if you only plan on using the chainsaw then that's irrelevant. I'm thinking about selling my Stihl 4 stroke brush cutter and getting a batter strimmer. I only ever use it for my own garden these days anyway

In regards to the price of the batteries just think of it as buying a lot of fuel upfront. They only cost a few piece to charge.

 

The running costs are a lot cheaper in the long run, especially when you consider the lower maintenance required for battery machines.

Ah the words of a salesman you're good mark, very good! It will be more of a luxury buy than a necessity... Besides, I had a top handle and 271 stolen the other day so this is on a back burner til I replace the others

I think your doing right in buying a petrol saw as your main machine, the battery saws do have their place but atm that's not to be a main/only pro saw imo.
