Converting a Landy 110 to a 130

Hi all, I recently bought a g reg Landy 110 tipper that needs a new chassis, been looking on the Richard chassis website and was wondering weather I could replace with a 130 chassis and what I would need to do to make it legit,

Anyone else done something similar?

Yes you can would get a q plate and need to have a sva test from the vosa.

Thank you, what does an sva test consist of? Is it a bit of a pain or not to bad,

The landrover 130 already has type approval so the test is not difficult you could just change the chassis over and carry on a surprising number of 130s have 110 on the log book even landrover used to stretch the chassis, but not for a while

I think the early 130's where down as a 110 on the log books anyway, certainly were for a few years.

 

Personally Id just swap the chassis and leave it at that...

Ive just put a new 3/4 rear chassis on my 130 off a brand new front end right off 130. Even the new ones are just 110's that are cut and an extension sleeve put in. This is the back end of the sleeve.

Could but that would b 13,000 more than I payed for this Landy so far
