We stopped 18 months ago. Would rather loose that sale than chance any problems in the Future.

 

Anyway any Trained Arb Person should tie it themselves surely

i woudnt trust anyone but my self to tie my own prussic. not vanity , just wouldnt want to lose the knowledge of how to tie one. For me its like sat Nav , you rely on a computer and you forget to how to read and oreintate a map.

As I remember I got taught how to tie a prussic when I did the qualification. Not only that but every climber should able to tie one.

Come on, am I the only one who ties a knot high up on the split tail to assend a tree and then makes it shorter when up in the tree so its easier to get at.

possible but i use ladders to get in the tree:bongsmi:

Gud point but i find that when you cannt get a ladder in and you find you are climbing a tree using a series of pelvic thrusts that would make John Travolta proud then a knot tied further up the fope is better. When Im at the top I strop up and make the Knot closer to my body. You dont have to reach for it then. Try it nxt time.

a local shop to me wont sell you a tied prussic loop. not that i cant tie my own, just got onto the convo and they wont sell them. I preffer to tie my own anyway cos i like to make them my own length.
