Hi

 

I recommend locating your IBCs in the shade as you will get a build up of algae in them & it can be awkward to clear or obtain black ones.

 

A tarp to cover it may help

 

Ive seen IBCs connected at the tap with similar adaptors to the ones on ebay discussed on P1 successfully

Depending on what tap size you have on the bottom of the IBC you can get fittings to just screw on the tap which you can then connect together with "T" connectors and flexible pipe using jubilee clips. We have 5 linked together for polytunnel water supply covered in foil insulation to prevent algae and freezing.
