I'm after a new set of blades for my cs100, I have looked on Saturn knives website but they don't seem to list any for a cs100? Anywhere else I can try before going to my local greenmech dealer?

They are just fine from Saturn and cheaper than from the dealer. Can't remember exact price, give them a call 2mo. You should get at least 3 sharpens out of them as long as they haven't been too beasted and remember they are double sided too!

It pays to be very anal about what goes through the cs100 as the blades are expensive and the machine runs very sub standard if they are not really sharp. Saying that, if you're careful you should get at least 10 hours of solid chipping done on each sharpen (if not more) if you're careful.

Cheers

Thanks mate! Just took the cassette off and the blades are completely shot, anvil gap is around 3mm andthe bolts appear to be seized! Think my best (and typically most expensive) option is to take it to my local greenmech dealer and get them to sort it, this will get it back to what it should be and I will be more confident changing the blades myself next time!

genuine blades for me only. dealer fitted them last year at a total cost of £400. I too am very careful as to what is fed thru the chipper as the blades are expensive.

Had a seized bolt on mine, drilled it out a bit and hammered a big Phillips head on a socket in the hole, came out a piece of cake, I've fitted hex head bolts as well, seem a bit more robust
