the stuff that my cs100 gobbles is crazy... i know its a pencil sharpener etc... not a real chipper... but its paid for itself quickly and for those jobs where you can leave chip on site its a miracle. changes the way you work.

I would argue it is a real chipper, every tool has a place,in fact it's a whole tree chipper .........for the borrowers

As everyone has said above is so true!! They are 9 times out of 10 more has than there worth second hand woodchippers. My advice would be a greenmech 130 fantastic machine. Greenmech have got this little machine spot on!!!

I financed a tw150 5years back. 10%deposit and the 283 quid a month. If I was hiring a chipper it would cost 110 a day round here so 3 uses a month it had paid for itself. It is a big commitment as you would be in it for the long haul.

We were much the same, ours had to go out for one week a month to pay for its self over hiring a horrible thing with blunt blades!

In its first 18month it didn't sit still for more than a couple of days a month

Seriously though I get the not wanting to borrow, our chipper was the first finance I had had since my first car at 18 :thumbup1:

Speak to the dealers and cost it up but also think about how much that warrantee is worth, being able to pick up the phone and say "my/your chipper has broken down fix it" is worth a fortune when the other option is a days work missed that would of paid its finance instead you spent 6 hours in the workshop losing money!
