😀 part true, cos not all have the same properties, I believe the coast redwoods are the best but when they felled the Sierra giants they just shattered and weren't a lot of good for anything (but they carried on anyway!). Check out the book "They Felled The Redwoods" I think it's just been reprinted, incredible old photos and the full story.

What do you want to use it for? If it's sound timber and it's not going to cost you to mill it apart form from some fuel and time then it would be worh it in my opinion, it's definatly useable. Some dimentions and a photo would help

If it has to come down ,I was hoping take good use of rather than fire it.

 

Dont think its good fire wood . Its about the only thing left after a forest fire :biggrin:
