In answer to Cov's question.... Having followed threads like this over the years on here,

And bearing in mind I left the UK a decade ago! Here's what I reckon.

Top climber, topper, and rigging kit, in the right locale ie, London or other major conurbation, just shy of 200 quid,

More inexperienced climber in a less affluent area 100 quid with a sliding scale in between.
