as the title suggests i broke my small toe on my right foot. got up during the night to visit the little boy's room on my return to bed a managed to kick the bottom of my bed and ended up rolling about the floor crying:cursing like a little girl ha lol. it takes a lot to reduce myself to tear but by god did it hurt so bad when a woke this morning it was a worrying black and blue colour with some nasty swelling.

but seems the swelling is going down now and i can gingerly walk on it has anyone else had this type of injury and how long does it take to heal:crying:

You can get away with a broken little toe... they can't really do much for it.

I broke my big toe 6 months ago... totally my own stupid fault. Was due to go to France on holiday - the night before I'd finished work and was wandering around the yard making sure everything was secure. Saw a few planks that I thought I'd tidy out the way. Was 'walking' the third one over and let it fall against the other 2. It sort of bounced off and the bottom sprung back 4 inches or so onto my big toe... and broke it! Wasn't wearing boots as wasn't really working.... still no excuse.... just tired and careless...

Wasn't too bad, but no surfing while I was on holiday and I could work gingerly with it when I came back.... but what a prize **** I felt! :blushing:

I did my little toe a few months ago doing Martial arts training. It depends on how bad the break is, and where it is on your toe. I found that if I buddy-strapped it to the next toe and did my chainsaw boots up extra tight (and popped a couple of paracetamol a couple of times a day!), I could climb on it. I was limping about for a week or two and it was ok. Those tight forks hurt tho!:crying:
