Great wall pick up?????

I had a ping pong as a company motor. Got chopped in on a Holden/Vauxhall ute. The Vauxhall is bigger but gutless low down. The ping pong (ssangyong) was quite a nippy little motor, quite sweet off the mark, comfy for the front seat passengers but tight in the back, a little light on the corners but way better than the big wallowy Holden. It's also easier to see out if. NCAP rating is only 4 star I think but saw one that had been Jon an accident with an older car and it looked pretty good for a head on. Best of all, at least here in NZ, they're cheap.

BASC members enjoy significant discounts on several of the 4x4s. Great Wall is one yes but so is Mitsubishi and Toyota but they can only be bought from participating dealerships. BASC costs about £40 a year from memory.

Yup, worth Joining BASC just for the discount [about £65 now]. Saved me over £2000 on my Isuzu without the need to even haggle.

Having seen the build quality of these, I wouldn't get in one if you paid me. So poor that it failed every single TRL crash test and more besides!

A complete pile of shite, poorly and cheaply made, infringing any copyright laws they fancy!

No thanks, I think I would even get in a Reliant Robin pile of dogs doo doo than one of these.

Rant over!

WELL!! Have a steed came with 125,000 or six month warranty fully undersealed. Turning circle ok,seems same as most pick ups light back end unless loaded. can fit three kids in the rear seats, you have to use more gear changes as is six speed a bit under powered ! get 50 miles more on a tank than the ranger we also run. Now done 5k no problems so far.ride quality not as good as ranger or l200 bit more bumpy. came in @ £15300 parking sensors, grabbers, side steps, liner , blue tooth, time will tell. But its a work truck, know doubt something will fall off!! imo not to bad an wanted to try something other than usual suspects. Good luck .
