Do you have some kind of deck/table to feed the splitter?

I've been splitting big rings, its pretty back breaking:thumbdown:

I've ordered one of these, I'm sure its going to be easier, plus its Ideal for the billets for my

boiler.

Hi SKY THAT Paul's using in the yard 30ton one that's only a attachment on the rear to make it easier to pull back the billets so can cut a gain thanks Jon

Certainly can Jon forgot how hard it is holding a 660 with a 30 on all day and pulling/lifting rings round.

You no what they say though no rest for the wicked

I said this to my wife and she said "don't you mean dickhead".

I think that was very unfair ,I am not completely bald yet !

Do you really need to do that if there going in the boiler? That's going to be slow would be better sticking them in a rack and cutting with saw or bundling and cutting with saw I've not tried the latter but think it could be done.

The billets will go straight on the boiler, once seasoned, that will be mostly pop and softwood.

The stuff that I then put through the posch will go in the kiln and be retailed.
