Nice job that mate, did you make the Trellis yourself or buy it in ?

 

Brought it in but all had to be cut down to maintain same height as side fence.

Just thought i would stick my oar in! going back to the gate hanging pin arguement the gate should always hang of the top pin and pivot on the bottom thats why when you buy a hanging kit for a 12ft gate the driven pin goes on the bottom whereas the top pin bolts straight through the gate post, if it were the otherway round the driven pin would soon pull out, its all to do with triangulation, makes for a pleasurable gate opening experiance!

so basically you should never turn over the top pin, but not because it would bend, it just goes against the rules of gate hanging!
