Did a little Horse Chestnut reduction today with mine.

 

Roughly 4m3 of chip and a bag of rakings. Left the logs for the client, the machine would have just about chipped the logs, but no point wearing out the knives.

 

Used about 3litres of fuel and 45minutes chipping on the clock :)

Nice little chipper on ebay for anyone who wants to join the club on a budget.

I'm going to keep an eye on this, pretty close by. Already got an Eliet prof IV which we've used for a few years without a problem, only thing that gets me is it just dumps the chip straight on the floor.

 

Anybody used one of these...?
