it was bought and paid for and not getting used enough, so i have sold it and managed to replace it with another truck, another chipper, pay off 3 years of my mortgage and have some money left over for a rainy day. it was a great piece of kit and i miss it already on certain jobs, and my wee boy doesnt know it is away yet. i am hoping the next green truck will look the same to him, but i wont bet on it. i dont do the amount of work that i used to. it all came down to money mate..tbh

I know what you mean . Whats the next truck going to be ? . It will have to be green for the wee boy and to match the Greenmech :laugh1:. I do like that little chipper . I may have secured a deal with a farmer for a large plot of hard standing . As Ive been stuck with the current yard for a number of years and its always waterlogged . The farmers plot would be ideal clean dry and cover for logs to air .:cool1: over and out .

i have a small yard and very little work, but i am getting a bigger truck. i am a believer that the right kit premoted the correct way can find you work and make you money.

The right kit in the right hands can definitely make more money.

Its just that the vast majority of the work we do nothing except more man power can really make a difference.

Access is always the problem so bigger gear just wouldnt help, in fact most times it would cause a hindrance.

Probably even the small chipper wouldnt get into many areas we work in, even if it did getting the chip out would probably offset the time saved.

Although I suppose its like everything, once you have it you can put it to uses you never thought of.
