Is there a solution for legally towing these on the road does anyone know? (With a land rover) Loaded or unloaded.

I'm not sure about the issue of suspension because my jussi has tyres marked not for highway use so I wouldn't consider it at all but with highway tyres, empty and towed as an agricultural trailed machine, less than 750kg, you should be okay up to 25mph.

Yes you can buy them with overrun brakes and rated tyres although if it's less than 750kg you could legally tow with out brakes obviously you need lights a rated tyres for road travel I've been looking at these to go behind my Landy but they are pricey so think I will go for a Ifor with a crane as its not a single use item

We've got a Loglogic Softrak which is unstoppable, carry 2 ton easily and will go absolutely anywhere you want it to.

Softrak

Whilst I like the look of them and have no doubt they are very capable I bet they are very expensive and I couldn't see two ton of timber on the back of one.
