hope no one minds me saying but that looks like a total pile of crap not worth bothering with, a hell of a lot of force in a chipper, wouldnt fancy the " hope i did that right" feeling having worked on it,

Its a turd and needs to be put back to PTO speck and have that engine and chassis chucked on the scrap pile.

 

 

 

Anything else would be throwing good money after bad

 

 

Yep ! Could be an interesting project but the tractor it would go on is only around 100hp.

Add the cost of getting HSE compliant makes this a very dear PTO machine - chuck the rest in at a metal merchants.

 

There speaks a dealer rep.

 

I have retro fitted 2 (among other makes and models) 550s to bring them HSE compliant. Its not a big job in the scheme of things, as long as the machine (like this one) isn't a collection of spare parts:laugh1:

Well (IMO) you need a minimum of 10 horses per inch capacity for comfortable operation so your hundred ponies ought to be up to the task.

 

So, one tractor mount chipper and a pile of scrap then?
