Straight our of the blocks I don't see anything about LOLER marking.

It wont need an inspection out of the box but if it doesn't have a serial number, WLL and MBS marked on it, you will need to add them before it goes unto service.

It has a WLL of 15Kn and a MBS of 45Kn which is within industry standard tolerances.

It wont damage the bark, it says so in the blurb so it must be true :laugh1:

ohne die Rinde des Stammes zu Beschädigen

It looks a lot like the Harkie version and there isn't a lot to chose on price

You'd be using it mostly for dismantles so damage to bark wouldn't matter.

Dunno, hasn't got all the BS numbers so might get some peoples panties all bunched up

That's not a problem, the man from the HSE will untangle them while he is up there and some ones ambulance chaser will be right with him to make sure he does a good job, and the lawyer will know its EN numbers rather than BS:laugh1:

was taking a look at some of the treehog stuff, and if you compare them to the treeup stuff you'll see there exactly the same harnesses lowering equipment e.t.c only treeup's half the price. don't know if this is of interest to anyone but it might save someone a few pound.
