confused about rope

I've just bought a Sirius 14mm rope, got it to do a bit of small rigging with a loopie pinto setup. I was pretty confused when it came to buying a rope just got this one because it was cheap.

I've done a good bit of rigging but always used whatever rope the firm I was working for had.

I now realize this rope is completely different to anything I've used before.

my question is what can I use it for should I have a different rope for section felling?

any help greatly appreciated

All the rigging ropes have its load rating on a printed label at the end of the rope if new, they quickly come off however when in frequent use, one of the reasons for frequent LOLER examinations, it should have its capacity and SWL, on information sheets that would be with the product on purchase.

The Sirrius is a good rope, the Pinto and loopie are also a good combo but if you haven't already got one a friction device of some sort will be needed for best results

The rope will do any lowering you need within its limits, no need for anything else unless its a bigger one (bigger is always good)
