There was something on UKTC recently. Possible enforcement of its control under the ASBO legislation.

 

Not been used but possible. Apart from that I don't know of anything. Rob Rainford may be the man to ask.

would pouring it neat in to the stems ,ok.

 

I think you should read the label. I'm not qualified to advise as I have an aversion to using pesticides but my understanding is that too strong a dose traumatises the plant such that it does not translocate to the roots. I'm keen on trying heat treatment.

burnt it in the past , but that was on a site job & permision to do it but had an old inspectin pit to burn it in,so well controlled

I mix at max recommended strength which is about 1litre to 15 of water then foliar spray. 1 spray will generally knock it back but may take upto three years. Our package is 3 times a year for 3 years

the 2, bits are about 18" tall, @ the mo .

I was referring to soil sterilisation by heat treatment
