Rock Original Stump Grinder

I'm thinking of getting a small stump grinder. The rock ones looking advertised around this site seem to be good value so I'm wondering what is good about them and what the limitations are?

I don't imagine that it will get use day in day out. As long as it pays for itself over the course of a year or two without hassle. (assuming I have the work) I have about ten stumps lined up at the moment.

Thoughts please ladies and gentlemen.

These stump grinders are sold under various names, brands and colours (may have very small differences). They are made in China. And I have one (not Rock). I really like it. Yes it's not a top of the range one that I would like but it does the job. It paid for itself already. If you're the same as me a sole trader you won't go wrong

Get one, I bought one last year and it paid for itself in no time given how cheap they are. They are 29 inches wide so get through standard gates. Decent company to deal with as well, ordered mine at 11am one days and it's at the door 10:30am the next. It's not the grinder you would want full time but mines out 4-5 times a month and works well

I looked at the Rock stump grinder at the end of last year. I decided to go with a second hand carlton 900, which was £250.00 cheaper than a brand new rock and only five years old with no wear and paint still on the cutter wheel. It's well worth looking at all the options first.
