Do you mean Larches like European Larch, Hybrid Larch, Japanese Larch etc....

 

If you do then there is Loads of it around Dumbfries and Galloway forest district. Lot being felled due to Phytophthora ramorum. Either way if you want some Euroforest would be your best bet.

Thanks for your replies. We would need the tree trunk, its timber for building a log cabin, 7metres in length. I didn't know there were different types.

 

Go for European larch,the others grow faster but are less durable....:sneaky2:
